Massachusetts history runs deep. As one of the first original 13 states, Massachusetts has no shortage of historical landmarks from the Mayflower, Plymouth Rock, the USS Constitution and so many more. From stories of Paul Revere and John Hancock to the Boston Tea Party, Massachusetts has played an integral part in the country's history...

Here's a question for my fellow Massachusetts residents: Do you consider yourself a "wasteful" person?

Before we get into reasons not to move to the Commonwealth, a study has found that one of the most popular states to move out of was Massachusetts while the state of Vermont just over the border saw an increase in percentage of migration. Which honestly does not surprise me at all in certain ways.

Massachusetts is a great place to live. Residents and visitors have their choice of city or county life, plenty of restaurants, and of course plenty of shopping. Massachusetts is home to an abundance of independent retailers from book stores, to sports equipment and gift shops...

Put yourself in this frame of mind, Massachusetts friends and neighbors. Picture yourself driving around in your car on a nice day.

Are you ready to hang up all that workday drudgery and start enjoying the good life? Want your "golden years" to begin NOW? To sum up, are you ready to retire?

In the event of a local, statewide, or national emergency, are you ready for it? If you answered in the affirmative, experts say you're kidding yourself.

According to mass.gov, while this law does prohibit unnecessary idling, it also recognizes that there are times when idling is simply unavoidable and lists three specific exemptions: Like when an engine is being repaired and operating the engine is necessary for the repair; or when a vehicle is making deliveries and associated power is necessary; and when the engine is used to provide power to another device.

As many animal lovers and pet owners will tell you, you're either a dog person or a cat person. You can't be both. It's one or the other.
