A new month on Netflix is always exciting, but how about a NEW YEAR! January 2018 looks bright already, at least when you check out the new offerings everyone's favorite streaming service is bringing on board.

Spend the first full month of winter catching up on classics like the O.G. of mob hits (pun intended) The Godfather, as well as two and three. If you're more into superhero classics, five of the Batman movies will be available in your living room, including Tim Burton's Batman, which I never even knew he directed! If you a classic movie purist, you'll be happy to see the iconic Audrey Hepburn and Breakfast at Tiffany's is on the list as well.

If you're a lover of everything 90's like myself, the original Bring It On, featuring crazy young Gabrielle Union and Kirsten Dunst, will be on. If you're in the mood to binge, all FIVE (yes, there are seriously five) of the cheerleader pop flicks will be available as well. If you're looking for something a little more action packed, Lethal Weapon 1-4 are new to the streaming service for the first time.

Later on in January of 2018, if you're looking for some fresh laughs, they've got you covered. Jerry Seinfeld hosts Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. The hilarious "ride along" (think carpool karaoke, but smarter) isn't new to Seinfeld super fans like myself, but I'm happy to see it aviable to a new audience, you guys have been missing out! What I'm perhaps most excited about is a new stand-up special from one of my favorite comedians Katt Williams. Katt Williams: Great America, will correspond with his latest national tour of the same name. Belly laughs are the perfect remedy for the winter blues!

Don't sleep on some of my personal favorites that have been added to the roster, including three titles that we regularly reference on Slater & Marjo in the Morning, Wedding Crashers, The Shawshank Redemption and Apollo 13.

Check out the whole January 2018 Netflix Lineup and happy viewing!
