According to The Boston Globe and several other sports new outlets, New England Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady, is not happy with local Boston sports radio station WEEI.

In a weekly interview segment on "Kirk & Callahan", Brady expressed his dissatisfaction with the New England sports radio giant, because of comments made on the previous Thursday, in which a different on air host called his five year old daughter Vivian, "an annoying little pissant". The comments allegedly stemmed from the child's appearance on the first installment of Tom vs Time, a FaceBook documentary about the aging (yes, I said it) quarterback.

"I've tried to come on this show for many years and showed you guys a lot of respect. I've always tried and come on and do a good job for you guys. It's very disappointing when you hear [the comments about my daughter], certainly. My daughter, or any child, certainly don't deserve that."

Clearly it was in poor taste for this guys to make a comment about Brady's daughter, but I have to play devil's advocate for a just a second here.  If you chose to film your family, allow them to be recorded day to day, and then release this to the public, aren't you opening them up to criticism? You think Kim Kardashian, or any other reality star for that matter, hasn't had FAR worse said about their children? When you agree to share your family, children included, with the public, you are automatically opening the door for people to comment, good or bad, on their lives, your parental style and everything in between.

I certainly don't think it gives this guys a hall pass to hurl insults at innocent children, however, the comment he made is a comment I have probably made about countless young children, I'm just smart enough not to do it on air. Tons of five year old children act like annoying pissants sometimes, (sorry your kid probably had their moments too) but not all those children are the daughter of arguably the greatest quarterback of all time.

At the end of the day, this guy made a stupid, tasteless comment, and now he's suffering the consequences of his actions. Children should always be off limits, but in our celebrity obsessed society, they're just not. I would have reacted the same way that Brady did (if we're being honest, probably worse) but if Tom Brady doesn't want people to give their opinion about his family, maybe he shouldn't put them out there for public fodder. Just saying....
