The 10x10 Upstreet Arts Festival is just around the corner and the winter arts festival is teaming up with the Berkshire Museum to kick things off with a night that's fun for the the whole family. Did I mention it's free?

The Berkshire Museum is inviting people to join them as they kick off Ten Days of Play and help the initiative celebrate its seventh year of encouraging children to play, create, improvise and learn at the downtown cultural landmark.

The Free Community Play Night welcomes families to the museum Friday, Feb. 15, from 5:30 - 7:30 pm, and invites them to try all of the exciting, child-directed activities free of charge during this fun community event.

During Ten Days of Play, which takes place Friday, Feb. 15 through Sunday, Feb. 24 at the Pittsfield museum, the Crane Room will be filled with an exciting assortment of modular building toys: kids will enjoy a generous LEGO station, explore color and gravity at the Tegu magnetic block station, stack structures with Bilderhoos, and innovate with the big blue blocks of the Imagination Playground. Ten Days of Play will also feature interactive activities for early learners, daily aquarium programs, and the popular Tinker Lab.

This free community even is generously sponsored by Greylock Federal Credit Union.
