There are plenty of fantastic shows to look forward to in the Berkshires as the weather gets warmer and Tanglewood just added another big name to their Popular Artist series lineup.

Tanglewood announced Friday morning that Harry Connick Jr. will take the stage on Saturday, June 23. The show will kick off at 7 p.m. in the Koussevitzky Music Shed.

Connick's show is entitled "A New Orleans Tricentennial Celebration", paying homage to his native city which is described as the "foundation of his art." The multi-time Grammy and Emmy award winner made his Tanglewood debut back in 1990.

Tickets will be available for purchase on Monday, April 9 at Tanglewood's website.

The Popular Artist series includes the likes of James Taylor, the Steve Miller Band, David Crosby, Stephen Stills, Mary Chapin Carpenter and more. The series will kick off on June 15 with Roger Daltry, who will be performing The Who's "Tommy" with the Boston Pops.
