For the most part, we haven't had to deal with a ton of snow and cold this year. We did have early snowfall, however. That could change this weekend.

The National Weather Service and weather.com are calling for potential heavy snow Saturday night into Sunday for the Berkshire region.

Tuesday, the forecast was calling for 5-8 inches of snow and ice Saturday night into Sunday, with an additional 1-3 inches possible on Sunday, with temperatures falling back to the teens early next week.

The position of the low and/or rain/snow line will determine snowfall amounts.
