A local boutique winery is the latest to jump on board and help bring Officer Darren Derby's Copsicle Truck come to life. Who doesn't want to drink wine for a great cause?!

According to their Face Book page, Balderdash Cellars, located on East Street in Pittsfield, will donate a portion of their wine sales tomorrow directly to Operation Copsicle. After talking with Officer Derby, owners Christian and Donna Hanson wanted to help close in on the fundraising goal to purchase the first ever Berkshire County Police Copsicle Truck.

On Saturday, for every bottle of wine sold, Balderdash Cellars will donate $1 to this cause.  In addition to that, Allen Harris from Berkshire Money Management has generously pledged to match the total that is raised.

Ice cream for kids, wine for adults? Sounds like a good deal to me! For more information on where and how to purchase Balderdash Wines going towards Operation Copsicle, contact Balderdash Cellars.
