Ice Cream Season: Krispy Cones Announces Opening Day

The upcoming warm weather is getting everyone ready for ice cream season in Berkshire County.

Krispy Cones, a longtime vendor at "Live on the Lake" and the host of countless "Take Home a Highlander" live broadcasts every summer, will be opening up for the season this Friday, April 13. John Levardi made the announcement via social media on Tuesday morning.

Located at 555 S. Main St. in Lanesborough, Krispy Cones will be celebrating 14 years in business this season. They offer a wide variety of food options, including wings, burgers, appetizers and, of course, ice cream -- more than 120 flavors of it.

Ice cream season will be kicking off on Friday in the Berkshires, with confirmed season debuts confirmed in Lanesborough and Pittsfield thus far.
