Gun violence continues to plague the City of Pittsfield as reports of a shooting Yesterday afternoon surface.

According to The Berkshire Eagle, little information has been released in the shooting that took place shortly before 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 30.  Officers responded to reports of gunshots on Franco Terrace off of lower Brown Street, where they found the victim who was transported to Berkshire Medical Center. As of yesterday, the extent of their injuries was unknown.

No other information from Pittsfield Police Detectives was given at this time as the shooting remains under investigation.

This the second shooting in the Morningside area in the past two months.  A November 3 shooting took the life of a 30 city man.
