The Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT hosted a night of local grappling and mixed martial arts action, featuring the best New England has to offer. One of those is a lightweight fighter who captured his second championship, who just happens to train right here in The Berkshires.

Matt Bienia captured the Reality Fighting lightweight title with a third-round armbar submission over a very game Nate Ghareeb at Reality Fighting 100 on Saturday night. After a back-and-forth two rounds, the fight would head to the mat in the final round, in which Bienia was able to lock in the beautiful armbar. Ghareeb would show his heart and tenacity by refusing to tap, but after an adjustment by Bienia, Ghareeb had no choice and the fight was stopped.

"The Machine" trains locally at ZenQuest Martial Arts in Lenox, which has produced an impressive mixed martial arts record of 10-2. Following his second championship victory, Bienia sat down with Live 95.9 to talk about it. He also discusses his incredible support system, how becoming a Dad has changed the way he approaches training, as well as a funny story about how he would knock out the explanation of his black eye at his full-time job in this exclusive interview.
