The cold weather we've been experiencing in The Berkshires lately has been tough on everyone, but the world renowned Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art, located in North Adams, is offering local residents a reason to leave the house and a cure for your winter blues.

According to MoCA's Facebook Page, they're opening the doors and welcoming Berkshire County residents to view galleries FREE OF CHARGE, for the next two weeks.

On these cold winter days, our cozy galleries are a little slice of heaven. We invite Berkshire County residents to warm up with free gallery admission from January 3 - January 19. Stop by with proof of Berkshire residence (a valid ID or utility bill), and the museum is yours for the day.

A few months ago I wrote an an article on how surprised I was about the number of Berkshire County residents who have never been to the museum. I believed I described it as a museum for people who think they don't like museums, for art experts, and for everyone in between. It highlights a bunch of the cool facts and features about the North County institution, I strongly urge you to check it out if you haven't been, or revisit the ever changing exhibits.

Shake off that Cabin Fever with a FREE trip to MASS MoCA. I promise you won't be disappointed!
