There probably isn't another BAND I love more than Pearl Jam. Hits like Jeremy, Daughter and Alive bring back to fond memories of my teens and are a staple in my favorite part of the work day, The 90's at Noon.

Eddie Vedder's haunting voice and abundant talent have taken the bands 90's alt rock roots and kept them relevant well into the 2000's. While other bands of their era such as Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots and Soundgarden have tragically lost members and others have just faded from memory, Pearl Jam is alive and well, still selling out shows across the country.

Last year Pearl Jam played two dates at Fenway Park in Boston, and I regret missing both, as I have never had the chance to see them live. Last night, my prayers were answered (yeah, I'm a little dramatic)

Via the bands website, they announced a small tour filled with 'home dates' and 'away dates', the two home dates being in the bands native Seattle Safeco Field. Mimicking a sports theme, the remaining 'away' dates will all be held at other iconic outdoor sports venues, including Wrigley Field, and yes, Fenway Park in our great capital city of Boston. They'll hit the home of the Green Monster on September 2nd and 4th, my Birthday just happens to the 6th of September...road trip anyone?
