Pittsfield Police Seeking Information In Lipton Mart Armed Robbery

On Friday, 2/1/2019 at approximately 9:17pm, members of the Pittsfield Police Department responded to Lipton Mart located at 320 West Housatonic Street for a report of an armed robbery.

The suspect, who had left the store prior to officers’ arrival, was described as a male, approximately 5’10” tall, wearing a red mask, dark colored Adidas winter cap, and light colored shirt and pants.

The perpetrator brandished a handgun and demanded that the clerk open the register.  The suspect received no cash but left the store after stealing several pieces of merchandise.
