A Pittsfield eatery is making sure that cocktail break, doesn't break the bank.

Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar has announced that the December Drink of the Month is the Dollar Jolly and it's available now through the end of the month at participating Applebee's nationwide. A quick phone call to the Pittsfield Hubbard Ave Applebee's confirmed they have them. In true holiday spirit, the Dollar Jolly is sweet as candy. No really, exactly like candy, Jolly Ranchers to be specific.

According the restaurant chain, the vodka based cocktail is made with Jolly Rancher mix, the same flavors the candy is made with, so you're basically sipping a boozy version of the hard candy. So what's better than a boozy candy cocktail? A boozy candy cocktail that costs just one dollar, that's what.

Applebee's chose two classic Jolly Rancher flavors, Cherry or Green Apple, to give the Dollar Jolly its fruity taste, plus, we know the colors red and green look great together this time of year. Very Instagram friendly.
