Pontoosuc Lake Home To New Restaurant

Just a few months after the sale of Matt Reilly's made way for the new Lakeside Restaurant, Pontoosuc Lake is ready to welcome another new eatery to it's shores.

After almost a year of planning, and some resistance from neighbors, new owner Eric Taylor has reopened the former ITAM Lodge 564 as Proprietor's Lodge, a wedding and event venue.  But it doesn't stop there. According to The Berkshire Eagle the new space will also be a 150 seat lakeside restaurant.

The first floor will remain the event space, and the lower floor will be the public restaurant. Although there is no opening date as of yet, Taylor bills the restaurant as classic American fare and has agreements with two former chefs of Cranwell Resort for the kitchen.  Current plans are for the restaurant to serve dinner Monday through Saturday and open Sundays for brunch.
