If there's one thing I know, it's that people (especially those of us who reside in The Berkshires) HATE potholes. Loathe potholes. I also know, that the majority of us LOVE pizza. Truly, madly, deeply love pizza. If you fall into either of those categories, you must read on.

Domino's Pizza want's to fix your towns potholes. No, Seriously.  According to USA TODAY the nationwide pizza chain is offering grants to towns across the country to repair potholes, all in the name of pizza safety of course, with their Paving for Pizza initiative. Don't shake your head and laugh, especially if you are one of the THOUSANDS of people who have complained about road conditions from this last winter. You can nominate your city or town.

Domino's want to insure all pizza deliveries have a smooth ride to your front door, and offering to fill potholes and cracks as well as smooth bumps to make ensure that happens.

Have you ever hit a pothole and instantly cringed? We know that feeling is heightened when you're bringing home a carryout order from your local Domino's store. We don't want to lose any great-tasting pizza to a pothole, ruining a wonderful meal. Domino's cares too much about its customers and pizza to let that happen.

Russell Weiner, President of Domino's USA

The world's largest pizza chain Domino's has already worked alongside four municipalities to help repair roads that directly affect their customers, including Bartonville, Texas; Milford, Delaware; Athens, Georgia and Burbank, California. If you want to nominate your town for a paving grant from Domino's, head to pavingforpizza.com and enter your zip code. If your town is selected, you will be notified and the city or town will receive funds to help repair roads so pizzas make it home safely.

Get those nominations going people!
