There's a new viral video making The Berkshires proud, and spoiled alert, it's a tear jerker.

The Pittsfield Police Department gained viral fame recently when Officer Darren Derby and Investigator John Bassi's lip sync video went viral, and Bassi has found himself in the spotlight again, this time with his son Jake.

A nation wide United Airlines ad has hit the web, showcasing Berkshire native Jake Bassi, and his father John Bassi, as they escort the Flame of Hope from Boston to Chicago, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Special Olympics. Jake is a Special Olympic Athlete and John is an investigator with the Pittsfield Police Department and a Law Enforcement Torch Run member.

The video features the father and son duo as they transport the torch through fanfare and crowds on to the flight, and ensure it's safe arrival in the windy city. The Flame of Hope was used to light the torch for the LETR as well as the ceremonial lighting of the Eternal Flame of Hope monument at Soldier Field.

We couldn't think of two better men to represent the Special Olympics and their hometown community.
