Puppy Missing From Berkshire Humane Society

HAPPY NEWS! Mario, our lost puppy, has been FOUND! Thank you to our hardworking staff, our neighbors and our community for all the help. Mario is safely back at the shelter, being bathed and fed. Special thanks to Modina and Ticket, our shelter manager's dogs, who helped locate the lost pup under a deck. Dogs are heroes, and these little ones are especially special today!

Mario, found wet, but safe

Our friends at The Berkshire Humane Society need your help. Yesterday (1/21) afternoon around 3:45 this little guy Mario, escaped during a walk. He is a very small, spaniel mix puppy, black with white chest and feet, approximately 10lbs with long fur. He was lost in the area of South Mountain Dr. and Dan Fox Dr. in Pittsfield.

Mario is extremely timid and will likely run, so PLEASE DO NOT CHASE HIM. Notify the Humane Society if you spot him at 413-447-7878 x126 or 446-0755. Let's help this scared little guy get back safely to BHS
