Pittsfield Police are looking for a suspect involved in the second Spring Street shooting  the city has seen in three months. On November 3rd David Green was shot on the corner of Spring and Willow streets, and now law enforcement is investigating another shooting on the Morningside street.

According to The Berkshire Eagle, this past Saturday the cities ShotSpotter system alerted police of gun fire in the area of 54 Spring Street, in addition to multiple phone calls from area residents.

When officers arrived on scene, they found a 38 year old man with an injury from a "projectile grazing" his leg that was not considered life threatening. According to the report, witnesses told police the suspect was a white male, approximately 6 feet and wearing a dark jacket.

Witnesses went on to say he was last seen fleeing on foot and a K-9 unit was able to  track the shooter's path and found a firearm and other evidence that he had dropped. In addition, investigators also collected surveillance video from the area.
