Valentine's Day is right around the corner, and you're undoubtedly trying to plan a nice evening out for your loved one, but you KNOW you can't just go to the same old places. You want something romantic, something that will really make them feel the love on that special day.

Berkshire County residents, you are in luck! Delish compiled a list of the the most romantic restaurant's is each state of our great county, and their pick for Massachusetts is right here in The Shire, Lenox, to be exact.

Wheatleigh Hotel, originally built in 1893 was designed by premier architectural firm Peabody and Stearns and the guy who designed the surrounding landscaping and grounds was Frederick Law Olmsted, the same guy who designed world famous Central Park in New York City. How cool is that?

Today, Wheatleigh is a privately owned hotel and is one of the smallest member of the Leading Hotels of the World. It's restaurant boasts one of the best dining rooms in the country. Wheatleigh was also added to the National Register of Historic Places in the early 1980's.

The only Five Diamond rated restaurant in Western Massachusetts, a tasting menu will run you $175 a person, with option to add Pointy Snout Ossetra Caviar for the low low price of $225 (oh, that gets you ONE ounce by the way), but if you're on a budget, you could opt for the four course menu for $135 per person.

Bon Appetit!
