Berkshires United Way's 3rd Annual Dance Party, has taken on new life this year and transformed into a FIESTA!

Tomorrow night The Berkshire United Way will take over the popular new Stationary Factory venue in Dalton, turning it into a night of dancing, food, cocktails, games and fun for everyone.  Dance the night away to live music from The Jill Gallagher Band, then the party continues with Berkshire favorite, DJ BFG.

Chaired this year by volunteers Leslie and Matt Cormier, the couple has embraced the eve of Cinco de Mayo in the fundraising events theme.  Guests will enjoy a Taco Bar from Hot Harry's, locally crafted beer, wine and spirits from Kelly's Package Store in Dalton, and for the adults who are kids a heart, cornhole games, giant Jenga and of course, pinatas.

Of course, all of this fun is for a good cause. Berkshire United Way has served 26 towns throughout Berkshire County for over 90 years, mobilizing the resources necessary to address the most pressing issues and lead the way to a thriving community. As part of a global network, they focus on creating lasting change by giving parents the tools they need to be partners in their child’s success, leading to healthy decision making by youth and resulting in a successful, stable life.

Doors open for the event at 7 p.m. and the party will continue through 11 p.m. This event has sold out in the past, so don't wait. Tickets may not be purchased at the door, but you can do so online until 5 p.m. Friday. Click here for tickets. Entry to the party, including your tax deductible donation is $50, $35 for young professionals under 40 years old.
