Winter Fireworks Return to Downtown

While fireworks are often a staple of the summer months, they are also a great way to warm up a winter night.

The Office of Cultual Pittsfield, the same fine folks that bring you Third Thursday and numerous other community events, are happy announce the date for the 2019 Winter Fireworks display.

Saturday, Feb. 23,  The 10x10 Winter Arts Festival will culminate in a ten minute winter fireworks display at The Common on First Street. The event is free and open to public, and a great way to get the family outside during the winter months.

The fireworks were generously sponsored by Greylock Federal Credit Union, and will begin as soon as the sun goes down.  Event organizers are recommending people arrive at 6 pm so as not to miss any of the ten minute display. A rain date has been set for the following day, Sunday, Feb 24.
