A collision between a car and a motorcycle in Great Barrington on Saturday turned out to be the fault of the motorcycle operator involved in the incident.
The accident was called in at about 7:50 this morning. The motorcycle, traveling West, had apparently lost traction when it got into the sand on the side of the road.
According to state officials, between January and mid-July of 2021, there had been 11 motorcycle deaths in western Massachusetts and 37 across the Bay State.
A 73-year old New York man has died from injuries sustained after his motorcycle was struck while riding at the north end of Cheshire Reservoir on August 1st according to an article posted in The Berkshire Eagle.
