It's always great to hear news stories concerning "good Samaritans", isn't it? Somebody who commits either a heroic act or simply just performs a good deed.

Now the line painting operations will take place this week. We've got to get it done before the Fourth of July Parade, right?

The City of Pittsfield has scheduled some line painting that will likely impact travel, but hopefully not too badly.

The Pittsfield Police is seeking information on an armed robbery took place on North Street Tuesday afternoon.

There will be a parking ban on North Street late Friday night into early Saturday morning.
