3-Way Race to Decide Berkshires $500 Bracket Challenge Winner
There have been many crazy NCAA Basketball Tournaments, but the 2018 season may be the craziest one yet.
Over the weekend, Kansas, Michigan, Villanova and Cinderella story Loyola Chicago punched their tickets into the Final Four, which will take place this Saturday. The winners of the Loyola Chicago-Michigan and the battle of No.1 seeds between Villanova and Kansas will square off Monday night, April 2 for the National Championship.
Here in the Berkshires, there is a super tight race for the $500 in cash from the Pittsfield Cooperative Bank. Three brackets are still in the running, all with different choices to win the whole thing.
Currently, the ultra-consistent Cal Hoctor is in first-place with 42 points. Cal has chosen Michigan to win the title come next Monday night. Brian Mead and James Aitken are both a point behind, with all three having the potential to win it all with 44 points. Mead still has Michigan and Kansas in his bracket, with Kansas as his pick to capture the championship. Aitken also has Michigan, but also has Villanova, his pick to cut down the nets next Monday night.
It has been one heck of a tournament, and an even better response to our first Million Dollar Bracket Challenge. Who do you think will walk away with the $500?
