30 Arrests, Nearly 200 Citations Written During ‘High Visibility/Saturation’ Patrol In Pittsfield

"The High Visibility/Saturation Enforcement Patrol on Saturday involved approximately 65 members of the Pittsfield Police Department, Berkshire County Sheriff’s Department, Massachusetts State Police, and Massachusetts Probation Service.

Over the course of 8 hours, this detail initiated hundreds of encounters, a number of which resulted in official enforcement action:

·         10 summons to appear in court

·         30 arrests

·         Approximately 200 motor vehicle citations"
