$5K Bail Set for Pittsfield Man on Drug, Firearm Charges
A Pittsfield man was arraigned on several charges in Berkshire Superior Court on Monday.
According to the Berkshire County District Attorney's Office, 29-year-old Joshua Mayotte had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf for one count each of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, illegal ownership of a firearm, rifle of shotgun, possession of ammunition without a firearm identification card, improper storage of a firearm, rifle or shotgun, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and armed career felon.
Judge John Agostini ordered that Mayotte be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $5,000 bail.
The charges stem from an executed search warrant of Mayotte's home earlier this month. The DA's office did not verify when Mayotte would return to court.
