American Cancer Society’s Berkshire County Relay For Life
On Friday, June 22, beginning at 6 PM at Monument Mountain High School in Great Barrington, MA, will be this year's Relay For Life in Berkshire County.
Relay For Life is the signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Relay is staffed and coordinated by volunteers in thousands of communities and 27 countries. Volunteers give of their time and effort because they believe it's time to take action against cancer.
My wife, Jorja, is currently battling an aggressive form of breast cancer, while my father battles prostate cancer. Everybody knows SOMEBODY who is, or has been affected by this terrible disease.
This year's goal for Berkshire County is $100,000. If you have the means, you can donate here.
On Friday, June 22, events will include the opening ceremony, survivor/caregiver walk, luminaria ceremony, and closing ceremony.
Relay For Life Co-Lead, Ray Gardino, will join Slater and Marjo in the Morning on Friday, June 8 at 8:30 AM for more details.
