One of Berkshire County’s Most Exciting Car Shows is Back

Summer in the Berkshires. There's nothing like it. We have the beautiful scenery, waterfalls, ponds, lakes, and plenty of fun activities to add to our summer fun. One of those activities includes the summer car shows, and one much-anticipated show returns to southern Berkshire County this August.

The Great Barrington Fire Department's Annual Main Street Car Show is Back

If you have been thirsty for a summer car show, you won't want to miss the Great Barrington Fire Department's annual Main Street Car Show. The annual event will be on Thursday, August 6, from 4- 9 p.m. This car show looks great, as you can experience classic cruisers, muscle cars, and so on, up and down Main and Railroad Streets in downtown Great Barrington. As a matter of fact, we have a gallery of photos from last year's Great Barrington Fire Department's downtown car show. Take a look for yourself.

In addition to all of the beautiful cars that will be on display on August 6, there will also be food in the First Congregational Church parking lot. WSBS Radio has been broadcasting live from the annual car show event for many years, and this year is no different.

Is There a Fee for the Car Show? 

The entry fee is a $20 donation. All proceeds benefit the Great Barrington Fire Department Scholarship Fund dedicated in memory of Rod Mead. The rain date is August 13, 2026.
