Every Wednesday at 8:30 we're joined by John Perreault, Executive Director of the Berkshire Humane Society to discuss all the happenings at their Barker Road facility, plus talk about their Pet of the Week.

This week's Pet of the Week is Chevellepa, a 10 1/2-year-old female black Labrador retriever mix. Given her age, Chevelle qualifies for a senior discount, but don’t tell her that!

This sweet senior still has a lot of pep in her step! Chevelle loves going out for walks, eating cookies, and playing fetch with tennis balls. She loves meeting new people and making friends. Like many senior dogs, she is fully house-trained. She could live with children, but not with cats as she has a high prey drive. She’s selective about other dogs, so would need a successful meet and greet with another dog before she went home with one.

If you’re interested in this spry senior, call Berkshire Humane Society at 413-447-7878, extension 126.
