Berkshire Humane Society Pet of the Week: Meet Harvey

Every Wednesday at 8:30 we're joined by John Perreault, Executive Director of the Berkshire Humane Society to discuss all the happenings at their Barker Road facility, plus talk about their Pet of the Week.

This week's Pet of the Week is Harvey! This sweet boy may look worried and serious, but Harvey is actually a jovial fellow! He's a four-year-old American pit bull terrier mix who is described by the kennel staff at Berkshire Humane Society as “super awesome, and a very cool dude!”.

Harvey adores women and although it takes him a moment to warm up to men, it’s not long before he enjoys attention from his gentleman friends. This sweet mush loves to love on you and would enjoy an active family who will take him on adventures.

Harvey is no slouch, so no “couch potato” adopters for him please! This super cool dog is not only house-trained, but super dog social and helps the other shelter dogs with play dates and tandem walks, so a home with another dog is fine with him.

Harvey would do best in a home with children aged 10+ and at this time it’s unknown if he’d enjoy a home with feline friends. If he doesn’t win you over with his handsome and “derpy” expression, he will with his fantastic personality!
