Berkshire Humane Society Pet(s) of the Week: Meet Agatha & Rio
Every Wednesday at 8:30 we're joined by John Perreault, Executive Director of the Berkshire Humane Society to discuss all the happenings at their Barker Road facility, plus talk about their Pet of the Week.
This week's Pets of the Week are Agatha and Rio. If you’re looking for a lovely pair of green-eyed beauties, these are the cats for you! A pair of one-year-old sisters, Agatha is a tiger-striped domestic shorthair and Rio is a tiger domestic medium hair. The sisters are a bonded pair who must be adopted through Berkshire Humane Society’s Buddy Program.
Both Agatha and Rio are very shy, but very sweet, so they’ll need a quiet home where their new adopters will go slow with them and provide them proper time to adjust. These pretty girls have lived indoors only and will need to go to a home with adults only and no dogs.
Berkshire Humane Society's feline staff are unsure how they feel about other cats, but it may be a possibility for them to go to a home with other cats. If you have a quiet home and are willing to provide these beautiful girls with a new lease on love and care, please fill out a cat adoption application and speak to the feline department at Berkshire Humane Society by calling (413)-447-7878 ext. 124
