Bousquet’s Old Lodge Comes Down, Here’s What’s Next For The Ski Area (Listen)
Local investment firm Milltown Capital purchased the historic Bousquet Ski Area on Dan Fox Drive in Pittsfield in May of 2020 and winter sports enthusiasts couldn't have been happier.
After a fresh coat of paint on the old lodge for the winter ski and tubing season of '20/'21, it's time for the teardown and complete rebuild.
Slater and Marjo had the chance to speak with ski instructor Cindy Bartlett on Thursday morning. The tenured Bartlett let the Live 95.9 listeners know all the good that is in store for Bousquet.
Slater: They are tearing down the lodge completely and starting from scratch?
Slater: So, what's next, what can we expect from the new lodge?
Marjo: What does this mean for summer activity at the mountain?
Slater: Will the new lodge be complete by the ski and tubing season for '21/'22?
As of Thursday afternoon, you can see the old lodge has been completely razed.
