Changes Pittsfield Garbage Pick-Up Schedule

With winter storm Quinn dumping two feet on some parts of The Berkshires, the county's largest city has made some changes to their garbage pick up schedule.  This update was provided by Pittsfield City Hall.

While trash pickup was scheduled to resume today, the severity of the weather has again halted pickup. We apologize for this inconvenience.

Pending weather conditions, service is slated to resume Friday. 

Here’s what you should know:

- Friday’s pickup would include Wednesday and some of Thursday (we’ll get more information as to precise locations).

- Saturday’s pickup would include the remainder of Thursday and Friday.
