When Mayor Tyer joined us on the air last Wednesday, she was joking around about how the bike lanes actually helped her parallel park better on North St.
Now, before you get all hot and bothered about the bike lanes again, try and realize that this is an actual thing. Parallel parking is kind of difficult, right? I mean, I suck at it, and it's embarrassing!
Not everyone is bad at it, though, if you do it a lot, you're probably great at it. Even if you have no issue with it, just admit that it's just that much easier now...
The bike lanes, when unused, act as a nice safe buffer for ya!
