I am completely and embarrassingly addicted to drive thrus. If you hear the radio show - you know what I'm talking about. I love 'em. I've always loved 'em. Just seeing the condensation that forms on the ice cold clear plastic cup full of Diet Coke or iced coffee is so satisfying. Pop the straw in and drive off.

Every single day, I am hitting Dunkin and McDonald's. It is not even a question at this point. It is just part of my routine, like brushing my teeth or getting ready for the show. My latest obsession has taken it to a whole new level though, and we talked about it with the real estate guys this morning.

Filet of Fish. I'm trying to eat less red meat, so I've opted for McDonald's filet of fish as of late. But - I hate tartar sauce, and one filet is not enough, so I have been ordering a double filet of fish sandwich - no tartar, no fries and a Diet Coke.

Yesterday was no different, so I pulled up to the McDonald's on West Housatonic, ready to order, and they told me they were out of fish. All good - there's another McDonald's in town - so I went there instead. Who does that??

Think about that for a second. I drove across Pittsfield for a fast food fish sandwich. That is either dedication or a real problem, and honestly I am not sure which one it is anymore.

I know I am not the only one out there with a drive thru habit. Maybe yours is the hash browns, maybe it is the sweet tea, maybe it is a specific order that only you seem to care about. Whatever it is, I want to hear it.
