The National Center for Educational Statics compiles all kinds of information about colleges throughout the United States and they recently named a Berkshire County college as one of the most expensive around.

Williams College, located in Williamstown, Massachusetts in northern Berkshire County is one of the most prestigious institutes of higher education and it has a price tag to match. According to U.S. News and World Reports, in the fall of 2020, student enrollment at Williams College was just under 2,000 at 1,962, slightly lower then the previous year. While a small student body lends itself while to individually attention for undergrads, students will certainly pay for that.

The currently tuition at the prestigious liberal arts college is $75,520, according to the National Center for Educational Statistics, making it the 32nd most expensive school in the nation. This price is of course full tuition.

College Factual reports that out of the approximately 2,000 undergraduates at Williams College around 56% receive some sort of grant aid, whether it be need or merit based. The average tuition paid out of pocket per student is $51,496. So still a hefty price tag.
