You saw the photos throughout the fall season of the loudest, silliest socks Berkshire County had to offer. The 2018 Haddad Sock Game has come to its conclusion and the results are fantastic.

For those who aren't aware, the Haddad Sock Game has been going on for the last few years, where members of the community take photos of their silly socks and post them to social media using the hashtag, #HaddadSockGame. With the tag, $1 is donated by the Haddad Dealerships towards a fundraising effort. This year went to support Shop With a Cop, which was organized by Pittsfield Police officer Darren Derby, which provides a fun filled day for children in need throughout the county, when they literally get to go shop with a cop, promoting and creating positive relationships with law enforcement. This unique December shopping experience assists children and can deter them from choosing a life of crime or violence.

Haddad posted a video to social media on Thursday afternoon to reveal the results, and present a check, to Officer Darren Derby and the community which revealed that this year's Haddad Sock Game raised $3,000 for Shop With a Cop.

A big shout out to everyone in the community who wore the socks, took the photos and used the hashtag to help raise thousands of dollars for a fantastic community event. It's safe to say that this "Socktober" was a giant success.
