The third round of COVID-19 stimulus money is still being distributed by the IRS. Most Americans will receive a direct payment of $1400, married couples will receive $2800, and $1400 for each dependant.

So for example, qualifying married couples with two children would receive $5600, etc...

I was one of the lucky ones. I have direct deposit information on file with the IRS, so I received a stimulus on the first weekend after President Biden signed the bill into law.

However, for those of you still waiting on a paper check or debit card, check your mailbox tomorrow!

The agency began processing another batch of payments last Friday, but the official payment date is Wednesday, March 24. “A large number of this latest batch” will come in debit cards and paper checks, said the IRS. -masslive.com

For those of you wondering where your stimulus is, or to find out how much you will receive, head to irs.gov.

So far the IRS has sent 90 million payments out via direct deposit and about 150,000 in paper checks in record time, to boot.

The agency noted the paper checks and debit cards will both arrive in white envelopes from the U.S. Department of the Treasury. The Visa debit card will come with instructions on how to activate and use the card to make purchases and withdraw funds. -masslive.com

President Joe Biden's $1.9T "American Rescue Package" was signed into law earlier this month. This is the third round of stimulus payments to the American people since March of 2020.
