Summer in Berkshire County is all about easy living and fun. After a long, frigid winter, Berkshire County residents deserve some sun and fun, along with less back-breaking tasks like shoveling snow and clearing ice.

It goes without saying that many folks near and far will enjoy everything Berkshire County has to offer this summer. There will be plenty of live music throughout the county, along with places to swim, fish, and enjoy ice cream. The list of summer activities in the Berkshires never runs thin, that's for sure.

Another sure thing is that people love to attend tag sales throughout Berkshire County during the summer months. Some shoppers and lookers are die-hards. They'll show up to tag sales sometimes before the tables are put out. I can't blame them, though. If you're hunting for great deals and the best items, you have to get to the sales early. As the old saying goes, "the early bird catches the worm."

If you are a tag sale enthusiast, you won't want to miss this weekend's tag sale that an entire Berkshire village is hosting. That's right, multiple tag sales will take place on the same day in one section of Berkshire County.

The village of Housatonic (in the town of Great Barrington) will host the 4th annual Housatonic-Wide tag sale this Saturday, June 27, from 9 am - 1 pm. As of this writing, over 30 Housatonic families will be selling their wares throughout the village. The event is free and open to the public.

Start your planning and preparations right now. You can view a map of the over 30 homes that will be participating here. You can also view the list of addresses and items here.
