Berkshire County's first recreational marijuana dispensary is making strides in the industry once again.

Theory Wellness, trailblazers of the marijuana industry locally opened the county's first recreational dispensary in January of 2019. Since then Theory has expanded into the marijuana beverage industry and continue to generate millions of dollars annually.

This week will mark another significant milestone in the legal cannabis industry locally as Theory will begin accepting orders for marijuana home delivery. That's right, marijuana delivered to your front door.

Yesterday, Theory began accepting orders for the first recreational cannabis deliveries in the Berkshires. It's an extension of their partnership with a social equity courier, Treevit, which the company launched a few weeks prior in Chicopee. Theory owns dispensaries in Chicopee, Boston and Bridgewater as well as Great Barrington, in addition to three locations in Maine.

The first deliveries will be made from the Great Barrington store on Saturday and Sunday, reaching from Sheffield to Pittsfield. To date, it will be the first delivery in the area and represents the future of what's to come in legal cannabis and access to products.

VP of Marketing Theory Wellness

When Theory first opened in January of 2019, Slater and I got to tour the dispensary before it opened to the public. Check out some photos Slater grabbed that day.

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
