How Would You Feel If ‘Don’t Say Gay’ Was Passed In Massachusetts?
The fight for human rights never ends, and nor should it. I watched a family member struggle with his sexuality for a decade before coming out as gay. It was not fun to witness. Although I cannot speak for him, I'm sure he doesn't have many pleasant memories of those years.
In classic fashion, so to speak, he wanted to live in massive metropolitan areas that were known for accepting all walks of life, cities such as New York or Los Angeles.
He so desperately wanted to not be gay. That's how cruel humans can still be to one another just because they can't understand someone's else's reality. I think we all know and understand by now that you are born gay.
Anyway, some law makers in Florida think that there is a time when and when not to introduce LGBTQ language in schools.
