Kowloon Restaurant Plans to Open on Revere Beach
Kowloon, the iconic Chinese restaurant in Saugus, Massachusetts, is getting ready to expand. The owners, led by Bob Wong, want to bring their fun, tiki-style vibes to a new spot right by the ocean. This move will create a fresh place for people to eat, drink, and enjoy nightlife. I grew up on the North Shore - so I think this is awesome!
Kowloon Coming to Revere Beach
What exactly is happening? Kowloon is opening a new location called "Kowloon Tiki on the Beach." It will be a tiki bar with indoor seating for about 120 people and outdoor spots for 100 more. Expect tasty drinks like scorpion bowls, entertainment such as DJs and a dance floor, and some food options. The menu details are still coming, but it promises to be "even more over the top" than the original. -nbcboston.com
When will this open? The new spot is set to welcome guests this spring, in April.
Where is it? The address is 21 Revere Beach Boulevard on Revere Beach, Massachusetts. It's replacing an old place called Vivi and sits in a building with apartments above.
Why are they doing this? Kowloon has been around for over 75 years and is an icon in the area. After rumors of closing, they're actually growing to reach more fans. This beach spot will add excitement to Revere Beach, a popular place for sun, sand, and good eats.
Staples on Revere Beach
Revere Beach already has some staple restaurants that draw crowds. Kelly's Roast Beef is legendary for its sandwiches. Dryft offers fresh seafood with ocean views. Mission Beach House serves coastal favorites like lobster rolls.
Fine Line is great for brick-oven pizzas, although Bianchi's is better! Antonia's at the Beach is perfect for Italian dishes and watching the waves. Other spots include Belle Isle Seafood for fried treats and Billy Tse for Chinese food.
With Kowloon joining the mix, Revere Beach will be an even better destination for food lovers.
