On Friday morning, Slater and Marjo informed their listeners that the town of Lanesborough can view a wave parade put on by the Lanesborough Volunteer Fire Department and Police Department on Saturday starting at 10 a.m.

The point of holding the parade is to let town residents know and be reassured that their first responders are here and ready to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19.

This is a no physical interaction parade, ie there will be no handing out Easter candy in this time of social distancing.

Expect to see about about 10 emergency vehicles with lights and sirens to parade through the town. See the LVFD Facebook post for the route below.
