Live 95.9 Earns Top Spot At Mass. Broadcasters Awards

At times, part of an account executive's duties at Townsquare Media Berkshire's Live 95.9, is to write advertising copy for their client's commercials. Account executive, Katie Smegal, just happens to write AND get in character for some of her ads.

This unique salesperson's talents have once again paid off. Along with multi-character voice over assistance, as well as, production from Live 95.9's Mike Heck, "Duel", recorded for the Backwater Grille in Canaan, NY, won first place for "radio individual commercial" at the Sound Bites Awards sponsored by MBA.

Participants in Slater and Marjo's "Backwater Grille Trivia Challenge" mornings around 7:25 a.m., will most likely hear a variety of Smegal and Heck's tag-team commercials following the trivia question. Take a listen to "Duel" below.
