Local Business Reports Extremely Realistic BB Gun

In a Facebook post, the Pittsfield Police Department shared a photo of a BB gun that looks so close to the real thing that it's scary.

The department says that earlier this week, a local business called to report a found/lost item. When officers arrived they were shocked to say the least at what they were retrieving.

In the photos below the top firearm is a department-issued gun. The bottom is a matching BB gun. The slide mechanism on the BB gun works and sounds the same as a real firearm. The BB gun was located in a snow bank on the side of a main street. There is not a person in the world who could tell the difference, be it day or night, from 2ft to 20ft.
