MA “Donut Trail” Names Best in the State, How Many Have You Had?
On today's show, Slater and I go on the topic of Krispy Kreme Donuts, a legendary donut chain famous for their warm, fluffy glazed donuts. I personally have never tried out a donut from Krispy Kreme, but it's on my list.
Now I don't know if it was divine intervention, or more likely algorithms and targeted content hard at work, but either way this very afternoon I stumbled across a guide to the Massachusetts Donut Trail, highlighted the best donuts in the state.
Unfortunately, I've never been to any of these spots, but I feel like I need to, you know, so I can let you guys know how good they are... Even more unfortunately, non of the selected donut shops are located in The Berkshires. However, sometimes a good old-fashioned road trip is in order.
So let's get down to who made the list:
Althought it didn't make the offical donut road trip map, I think Shire Donuts located in Adams, MA should get an honorable mention. They offer warm, fresh, made-to-order donuts with hundreds of build-your-own topping combinations. It's not just a donut - it's an experience.
Even though all of these sweet spots require a road trip for Berkshire County residents, by the looks of these photos, it would be worth the miles!
