
Man Wanted For Pittsfield Murder Of 29 Year-Old Justin Crawford
Pittsfield Police have obtained a warrant for a 35 year-old man in connection with last Thursday's deadly shooting that took place on the corner of Tyler and Pleasure in Pittsfield.
The victim has been identified as 29 year-old Justin Crawford of Pittsfield. He was shot and later died from his wounds at BMC. Another person, who remains unidentified, was shot as well. This person was treated and released from Berkshire Medical Center.
On Tuesday, PPD applied for and was granted an arrest warrant charging Terry Martizna with one count of murder. Police are saying that this is the result of an extensive investigation including the Pittsfield Police Department, Massachusetts State Police, the Berkshire County Sheriff's Department, and others, all operating in conjunction with the Berkshire County District Attorney's Office.

Martizna, 35, is considered to be armed and dangerous and members of the public are urged not to approach him under any circumstances, according to a press release by Lt. John Soules at the Pittsfield Police Department.

This is the fourth murder in Berkshire County in just over a month. On May 11th, David Louis Boucher was arrested for the murder of his father, David Allen Boucher in North Adams. On May 30, Zyrus Jaynes was arrested for the murder of Jesse Gray in Pittsfield, and on June 1, Cole Bushnell was arrested for the murder of Michael Moore in Sheffield.
