Massachusetts Gas Prices Rise

The national average price for a regular gallon of gas is 23 cents higher than it was last month according to AAA.com. The national average for a regular gallon of gas is $2.85.

In Massachusetts, the average for regular is $2.76. Alabama comes in with the lowest average at $2.50, and California the highest at $4.03 a gallon for regular.

In The Berkshires, gas prices for regular range anywhere from $2.63 to $2.74, according to gasbuddy.com.

The national average for a regular gallon of gas in January of this year was $2.25. April prices reflect a near 50 cent increase from then.
