Motorcycle Crash In Pittsfield Sends One To BMC

Wednesday afternoon, at approximately 2:35 PM, the Pittsfield Police Department responded to the intersection of Osceola St. and Redmond Ln. for a motorcycle versus farm tractor crash which resulted in serious injuries.

An orange sport bike motorcycle operated by Jason Deines, age 29 of Pittsfield, was traveling southbound on Osceola St. when it collided with an International farm tractor operated by Daniel Conant, age 57 of Pittsfield, which had also been traveling southbound on Osceola St.

Mr. Deines was transported to Berkshire Medical Center by Action EMS as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.

This crash is under investigation by the Pittsfield Police Department’s Accident Investigation Unit.  Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact Officer Michael Silver at 413-448-9700 ext. 596.
